The iFi LAN iSilencer+ is an Ethernet noise filter for network streamers, routers, and other connected devices. It combines galvanic isolation with passive RF filtering to reduce electrical interference carried through your network connection. Full Gigabit Ethernet support keeps data moving at speeds up to 1000Mbps, while built-in transient voltage suppression helps protect connected equipment from power spikes.

Routers and network components can introduce electrical interference into the connections they share with your audio system. The LAN iSilencer+ physically separates its input and output through galvanic isolation, allowing Ethernet data to pass while blocking unwanted currents caused by differences in ground potential. Electrical isolation is rated at 1500Vrms.

Filter high-frequency interference

After the isolation stage, passive filtering reduces remaining high-frequency and RF interference. This additional filtering helps limit the electrical noise reaching your networked audio device and its sensitive conversion circuitry.

Keep full Gigabit speeds

The LAN iSilencer+ supports 1000, 100, and 10Mbps Ethernet connections. You can add isolation and filtering to a compatible network connection while maintaining its supported data speed.

Add protection against transients

A built-in Transient Voltage Suppression system helps safeguard connected equipment against sudden voltage spikes, with a specified peak transient power rating of 400W.

Connect directly to your device

Plug your Ethernet cable into the LAN iSilencer+ RJ45 socket, then connect its RJ45 plug to your network streamer, router, or other compatible device. The compact housing weighs 0.77 oz (22g), and a revised hardware design improves strain relief for long-term durability.
