The FH3 is a compact hybrid earphone that blends precision engineering, thoughtful ergonomics, and a driver system built for clarity from bass through treble. Its aluminum-magnesium alloy shell sits lightly on the ear, the beryllium-plated diaphragm delivers fast low-end punch, and the dual Knowles drivers add texture and detail through the mids and highs. Paired with a high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated cable, the FH3 offers a listening companion that feels consistent, comfortable, and easy to live with.
The FH3 uses an aluminum-magnesium alloy shell carved with 5-axis CNC machining. This gives the housings a smooth contour and a precise fit, so they rest naturally against the ear. The machining tolerances help the shells maintain rigidity, reducing stray vibrations that can cloud fine detail. Whether you’re working, walking, or listening late into the night, the shells stay stable and unobtrusive.
Inside each earpiece is a 10mm beryllium-plated diaphragm dynamic driver partnered with two Knowles balanced-armature units. The dynamic driver handles the lows with its rigid yet lightweight diaphragm, producing quick, controlled bass. The ED-30262 midrange driver adds fullness and body to vocals, while the RAD-33518 treble driver provides clarity in the upper registers. The physical-plus-electronic crossover guides these drivers so they work as a single system.
FiiO’s S.TURBO architecture uses a longer, turbine-inspired sound tube to filter unwanted upper frequencies from the dynamic driver. The result is more focused low-end energy. You hear clean bass lines that sit in their own space without masking mids or highs. The tube length—41.5mm—helps maintain a gentle rolloff around 32dB for a natural transition into the midrange.
A pair of carefully-placed vents equalizes the air pressure in the front and rear chambers, so the drivers move freely without strain. This helps maintain consistent dynamics during long listening sessions. You can settle in and listen without feeling that familiar ear fatigue creeping in.
The FH3’s internal acoustic chamber acts as a physical frequency-crossover pathway. Bass, mids, and treble blend without crowding each other. This gives instruments their own space, making long playlists easier to enjoy.
The included monocrystalline silver-plated copper cable uses four strands of 96 wires. It’s flexible, easy to handle, and built to transmit fine sonic detail. Gold-plated plugs help maintain strong electrical contact, and the MMCX connectors make it simple to rotate or swap cables.
The driver responsible for treble is positioned closer to the ear. This reduces the small reflections that can collect in deeper housings. With fewer reflections, upper-frequency detail arrives more directly and with less smearing. Cymbals, strings, and harmonics feel cleaner, especially at moderate listening levels where subtlety matters.
